Bleeding After A Leep

Be Italian

"Life without music is not worth living 'and' vedette means to be a star ', are two memorable phrases extracted from the Folies Bergère, one of the most impressive songs of Nine, a film that reminds us of the glamorous, elegance and the choreography of the music from the golden years of old Hollywood.

Nine (musical based on the Broadway the same name) was directed by Rob Marshall , also director of the Oscar nominated "Chicago" in 2002. The story follows the life of Guido Contini, a film director after the failure of his last two films, begin to feel the twilight of his career at age 50. To all this, there is also an existential void, a wife who sacrifices her career to be with his beloved and a lover will do anything to keep alive the desire of a man.

The film can be considered a collection of great music that can be seen over and over again, and although the story in general lacks the force required to turn it into a cult film, the performances of Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson and Judi Dench will leave anyone with a great satisfaction. Another great revelation of the film was the performance by Fergie, which dazzles with 10 kl of weight up to the paper, and of course, great staging able to compete with her co-stars, all winners of an Oscar.

definitely a tribute to women, beauty and talent. An excellent combination.

Carpe Diem.
