In an attempt desperate to revive the old icons of cinema, a lack of creativity to create new characters, the director Samuel Bayer brings Nightmare on Elm Street: The Origin, rebooted the terrifying saga of Freddy Krueger that already has 10 movies (1984 - 2007).
Unlike its predecessors, this new version does not have Robert Englund , actor who gave birth to Freddy in the previous series, leaving behind an interpretation cool in the 80's that left more than one unable to sleep. The movie also adds a new image the murderer of dreams, who sincerely leaves a bad taste to lovers of the character. As the title suggests, the film reveals new details on the origins of Krueger, when he was the gardener at a nursery where he indulged their sadistic instincts and pedophiles, until the parents of the children decided to take justice through his hands burned alive in a factory. What follows is already old news, a group of young people pursued that are dying one by one in the bloodiest way possible.
Except for a couple of gory scenes that are worth seeing for fans of blood, only one more film, the performances are basic, uses the same clichés horror film adds nothing new, but as any Hollywood film, the sequel is expected late next year.
